Like almost anyone who is halfway decent looking, I secretly dreamt of becoming an A-list actor. Like most who harbour this dream, I never had the guts to try living it. But, my never becoming an actor, didn’t diminish my love of Bollywood. I love this industry and what better way to express this than by sharing the triumphs and tribulations of Bollywood’s stars and discussing movies made by Bollywood.

Bollywood’s movies are magical. They offer escape, hope, excitement, and titillation to crores around the world.
Bollywood Dreams
The industries top stars live an ethereal existence, somewhere between that of mortals and gods. That’s why every year, lakhs of young men and women make their way to Mumbai to seek their fortune in the biggest, fattest, wickedest film industry on the planet. They dream of becoming household names like Salman, Shah Rukh, Akshay, Priyanka, and Katrina. In India, there’s no greater sign of success than being counted among these names.
Everyone Loves Stars
Bollywood’s starlets are better known than women in the top rungs of business, politics, or any other profession. From teenage boys to aged men, and those in between, everyone has a crush on at least one Bollywood actress. Women of all ages have a favourite actor they fantasize about.
Many fans are so fanatical that they’ll watch any movie starring their favourite star or starlet, even when it’s panned by critics and the public. That’s how much adulation and respect top actors in Bollywood command.
Success in Bollywood Trumps All
Put bluntly, if there’s one industry in India everyone wants to be a part of, it’s Bollywood. Engineers from IIT who are earning lakhs a month would eagerly trade places with even a third-tier actor. That’s because the actor’s life is 100 times more exciting than theirs. Also because, in Bollywood, fortunes change on a dime.
So that’s what this blog is about? It’s about Bollywood’s movies and the romances, betrayals, sleaze, and scandals that are a part of the most sizzling movie industry in the world.
